Guy Ritchie has been seen out in the company of the intriguing married socialite Diana Jenkins.
The Malibu-based Jenkins, 36, a stunning Bosnian blonde, is married to Roger Jenkins, 53 – one of the UK’s wealthiest bankers, a former Barclay’s star who now runs his own investment firm.
A successful businesswoman, philanthropist and mother of two, Jenkins was recently reported to have flown with actor Sean Penn to Cuba in her private jet to seek an interview with Fidel Castro.
Jenkins met Ritchie, 41, the UK film director ex-husband of Madonna, through friends last year. They have been cutting it up on the jet-set scene, with Jenkins spending time with Ritchie when she is in London. The pair attended a party hosted by Jimmy Choo boss Tamara Mellon at Selfridges two weeks ago.
Jenkins was spotted visiting Ritchie at Ashcombe House, which is Ritchie’s country home in Wiltshire.
Jenkins and a spokesman for Guy Ritchie insisted they are simply good friends. Ritchie has accompanied Mr and Mrs Jenkins, who partly reside on different continents, on a summer holiday with his sons to the south of France.
A friend of Ritchie’s said: “Diana is a force of nature and has this way of drawing people to her. Guy really likes her – the word he uses to describe her is magnetic. Diana wanted to see him before she went back to the States, so she chartered a helicopter for the afternoon which landed in one of his fields. She said she went for tea and that was it. They get along well.”
